5 Ways to Celebrate Grandparents Day

5 Ways to Celebrate Grandparents Day

National Grandparents Day is Sunday, September 8, 2024. Don't miss the opportunity to let them know how much you love and adore them! If there's anything we know, it's that life is short and it's all too easy to regret the words you choose not to say. Take the time to celebrate the grandparents (or grandparent figures!) in your life this year.

Here are five thoughtful ways to celebrate the day:

1. Stop by for a visit!

If you live nearby we guarantee that nothing will make their day quite like a surprise visit! Stop by for an hour and ask them a few questions about their life, their interests, their love story, their favorite childhood memories. They'll treasure the time together and you'll walk away knowing more about them.

2. Make a Special Recipe

Perhaps there's a special family recipe that they grew up making for you? Whether it's cookies, enchiladas or a cozy soup - take the time to whip up a family favorite and deliver it to them. They'll appreciate the thoughtful (and delicious) heartfelt service.

3. Make them a Video

Perhaps gathering in person isn't an option, if so you can still make their day! Gather family photos & videos and edit them together in a short 1-2 minute video set to a favorite song. They'll watch it over and over and over!

4. Handmade Crafts

If there are little kids in their life, recruit the cute kiddos to make some handmade cards & crafts to shower grandparents with love on their special day.

5. Tell them how much you love them!

Whether you do it in person, or in one of our CardCraft greeting cards, take the time to tell them how much you love and adore them and how grateful you are for their influence in your life.
